Through personalized post-secondary education in a fun and inspiring environment the student graduates prepared for the Virginia licensing examination requirements. About the Instructor

Danielle Christina began her career in 1996 studying Esthetics in San Francisco at Zenzie’s Beauty College.  After moving to the resort area of Palm Springs, California in 2000 she became the Lead Esthetician at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Palm Canyon Drive, where she continued to study advanced skills in Esthetics and Spa Management.  She also worked as a Cosmetic Surgeon’s Assistant for Rim Marcinkus, M.D., Ph.D. D.SC... and provided Medical Esthetic treatments to this clientele.

She then took her career to Phoenix in search of more opportunity including studying Permanent Makeup and working in the famous resort city of Sedona for Dr. Bendy So, MD, FACS, the first surgeon in North America to do vein surgery.  She also became a licensed instructor and taught Esthetics at 2 Phoenix area schools and graduated in Advanced Micropigmentation in 2006.

Danielle has been practicing Esthetics and Permanent Makeup in Virginia since 2012 while working for Kyle Choe, M.D., F.A.C.S. at The Choe Center for Facial Plastic Surgery. She has taught at the well-known Chrysm Institute of Esthetics in Virginia Beach. In 2022, Danielle trained in Scalp Micropigmentation with the famous Stevey G at The Micropigmentation Univerity at Sculpted Studios in Miami.  Stevey G is famous for his experience and knowledge in the Micropigentation world. 

She opened the Virginia Permanent Makeup Institutn 2016 and has recently reopened the school as the Advanced Permanent Makeup Institute in 2 new locations in Virginia Beach, providing the 90-hour Permanent Makeup coursework and practical instruction for Virginia licensure.  When coursework is completed, students are provided with tutoring and exam prep for the Virginia State Licensing exam. Continuing education is provided without limit until throughout the graduate's career as a Virginia Permanent Cosmetic Tattoo licensee.

Permanent Makeup Institute

Description

This Course is a 90-hour training program combined with 50 hands on practical units which prepares the student for Virginia State Licensure Exam in the field of Permanent Make up/Micro blading application. This course is a combination of required theory hours of instruction and required practicum’s which prepare students to be successful in the Permanent Cosmetic Make up field. The student must complete each module in class and pass written and practicum examination for each and a final examination and 3 practicum examinations to graduate.
